Vocals, Rhythm Guitar and Keys
Lindsey grew up in a very musical family - singing around the
campfire every weekend with her huge family at their cottage in
Bancroft, Ontario. Her parents were incredibly supportive and
provided her with guitar and piano lessons, and, made sure she
always had instruments to play. Professionally, Lindsey works
at Girls Inc. Limestone, a non-profit organization delivering
programs designed to inspire
all girls to be strong, smart and bold!
Lindsey's musical influences include Queen, Blue Oyster
Cult, Barenaked Ladies, Indigo Girls, Led Zeppelin,
and any other rhythmic, melodic band with
a rockin’ edge.
Lindsey has been writing music
more and more on keys, which
has resulted in several new
original tunes that range in sound
from 70's rock (somewhat like a
Blue Oyster Cult mix of classical
piano and distorted guitar) to
catchy tunes of unknown genre.
She never knows where her keys
will take her when she sits down
to play, but she's loving the journey!
Born in Belleville, Ontario, music started in Grade 3 with the
recorder. With rousing renditions of “It’s a Small, Small World” and
“She’ll Be Coming Around the Mountain” she was hooked for good.
Moving on up in grade 5 to the guitar and later,
the piano, music was always an important
part of her life.
